MINI Takes the States, a bi-annual cross-country road rally is in full swing, with hundreds of rabid Cooper enthusiasts participating in events at diverse locations across this great land. We’re tagging along for a couple legs of this epic trip and tweeting all the way.
We had breakfast in St. Louis and tonight we dined in the Windy City. Chicago, the pearl of the Midwest … or something like that, is our home for the next few hours. It caps off a day spent driving roughly 370 miles through gently undulating hills and bucolic farmland as we nearly splashed into Lake Michigan. It was a mostly peaceful trip with few unplanned and totally awesome stops along the way.
In the morning our navigation systems will be locked on Cleveland, Ohio and its the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, flammable river and hopefully safe drinking water. Fun times in Cleveland today!
